Flexible Crown and Trim for Curves

A straight stick will not follow a round wall, a bay, an arch, or a tower. Spectis makes flexible versions of standard profiles for those runs.

Deco-Flex and Iron-Flex

Deco-Flex is the interior flexible moulding. Iron-Flex is the exterior one. Do not swap them. A curve outside the house is an Iron-Flex job.

MD1949 is a cove crown at 4½″ projection × 4″ height × 12′ length. See the current price on spectis.us. Ask the dealer whether the flexible version of a profile is its own SKU or an option on the straight stick, and what radius that stick will take.

On site

  • Measure the radius before you order. A guess is how a curve gaps at the ceiling.
  • Store the moulding flat.
  • Use PL Premium (PLP100) on every bedding face and every butt joint, then fasten.

Corners on the straight runs still follow the corner notes.
